We stayed here twice in 2024. Once in July and another in September. Both super beautiful times of the year. And the owner, his wife and the staff are amazing and very accommodating. The cabins are great and location is just close enough and far away from everything that you would need to help enjoy your stay in the Muskoka. I can’t wait to return, if not this year. Than next year for sure. Myself and my friends plan on returning every year if not every second year the latest. We fell in love with the area and will continue to make it our vacation spot for years to come.

Words cannot describe how lovely the owners (Efjay & Jasmine) are, and truly know how to run a hospitality business. Our wedding was this past weekend, and our venue had cancelled 3 days before the wedding due to loss of hydro. Sandy Lane came to the rescue and put together a wedding for us in 3 days. They made sure our guests were comfortable, helped the elderly into their cabins, and went above and beyond to deliver a comfortable stay. We will 100% be back, and anyone who is looking to stay here for a vacation, or have a wedding here will be in the right hands. We are forever grateful to the owners, and hands down are running a great resort.

Just had my wedding here on June 15th. For me, everything was perfect. I am very low key and loved the rustic feel. For some, I could see not being impressed with the state of the cottages. That being said, there is new owners who I’m sure have plans to renovate. The staff were wonderful and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be back for many years to celebrate my anniversary.

We chose Sandy Lane as the venue for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with our choice. During our wedding we had a challenge with our caterer and Sandy Lanes staff went above and beyond to ensure we had food on the table and to make the experience as positive as possible considering the circumstances. Their grounds are stunning, the staff beyond friendly, and the perfect set up for a fun cottage weekend turned wedding. Exactly what we wanted. Thank you Sandy Lane for everything.

My husband and I visited Sandy Lane for our 5 year wedding anniversary, we were married at this same spot 5 years previously and we were so thrilled to be able to celebrate in the same location! The spot was exactly as we remembered it - spotless rooms, rustic cabins, quiet beautiful scenery and endless activity opportunities. We enjoyed a beautiful crackling fire in our cottage upon arrival, followed by a snowy walk and a few games of pool in the games room. We then had a great pizza dinner at the new restaurant, The Buzz. Followed by a long soak in our own private hot tub under the stars. It was the perfect day and evening! We can't wait to go back with our two young boys for skating and tobogganing!

Great location (on Halls Lake), close to snowmobile, ATV and 4x4 trails. Owners are super nice folks who will bend over backwards to make your trip better. Food is delicious and dinning atmosphere is nice. Cabins are a little dated but cosy and included a wood fireplace

We held our wedding and Sandy Lane Resort and it was the best decision we ever made! We loved the atmosphere and the community feeling from having all of our closest friends and family in one place. We also got stellar weather and the backdrop of the ceremony on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The reception hall and meal were perfect. But the absolute best part was the attentive service from Efjay, Jasmine and the rest of the Sandy Lane team. They catered to our unique needs and made us feel supported at every step of the weekend. A+ experience and we hope to stay again in the future!

We are very thankful for them and appreciate their efforts to go above and beyond. Loved the cabins and having all our of friends and family close by. Thank you Sandy Lane Resort!
